2011 US Surf Open
I was lucky to catch the last day of the US surf open and watch the 10-time world champion Kelly Slater surf.
I have never seen so many people at Huntington beach.
Just a view of what it looks like under the Huntington beach pier.
Grandpa was posted on the beach with his Canon taking pictures. Unfortunately, it seemed he wasn't dressed appropriately for the occasion. I guess you got to do what you got to do.

During the surf competition they had a little break so Bob Burnquist and some Nitro Circus guys could skydive and land on the beach. I got to shake Bob's hand after he landed and walked passed the crowd. Check out those shoes!
