Wanderlei

Missed this one cause I was in the bay. Got to love this guy's pitbull tenacity! His first win in the octagon since 99. Must feel good to finally win one. He nearly killed Jardine.
Jardine looked like a dead fish after this one. Poor guy.

As the World Turns.....

A bride to be stares at the rubble from the church she was to be married in on her wedding day. This photo was taken right after the massive earthquake which struck CHENGDU, China earlier this month.

The extremely strange weather continues all over the world. Hail, snow, and tornadoes come alive in southern California. Out of all places right?

What does it all mean? Makes me think....what else does mother nature have up her sleeve for us?

Lets Get Tabs Tonight......

What a night last night! Santa Monica Blvd. was crackin. And it was my first time on a unplanned partybus with some of the homies. Haha I know, too crazy! My friends Mark, Star, Jonathan, and I found a partybus last night leaving Hollywood. We hopped on for no apparent reason. Guess you can say we got bored. =)

We found some seats and just couldn't stop laughing on the bus. No one on there really cared, as we fit in like laughing hyenas in the African savannas, but the tides turned when the bus started moving. We were on there for a good 20 minutes then got off, as a bus full of TTG's and heinas cheered and applauded us cause we told them we got on the wrong bus. I admit I got scared. I didn't want to end up some place like Temecula with no ride home. All in all, it was damn fun!

After a night out in town, what better way to end the night by eating some delicious picha. Not pizza, but picha! You gotta say it like your moms and titas. hahah

Our party pizza. Sorry party picha!

Volcano in Southern Chile

Mother Nature in all its glory, wreaking havoc, yet beautiful.

Reality Check

On May 2 and 3, a tragic cyclone hits Myanmar (Burma), a country between India and Thailand, and has confirmed to have killed over 40,000 people. 100,000 people are said to be dead or missing. When do you hear about cyclones on the news? Pretty much, rarely! A tornado on water? Too crazy!

And then on May 12th, a 7.9 earthquake rocks central China. The death toll is said to be able to reach upto 50,000 people.

I ask myself, what does this all mean? According to the prophecies of my good friend KC, apparently the world is coming to an end. Rumors say that the end of time falls on the date of December 21st, 2012, which is the end date to the ancient Mayan calender.
This date falls on a Friday according to KC's client, the Math Whiz or who I like to call the modern day Rainman.

Actually, the significance of this date is when the suns magnetic fields are going to shift due to lunar alignment. The Mayan calendar is based on the characteristics of the sun. This has already happened previously, and occurs about every 25,800 years. Watch the history and discovery channel. These ancient civilizations, like the Mayans, were quite vigilant and very intelligent.

I guess this all means that we all need one of these......

Dunzo

Yesterday was the last day to ride the famous Santa Monica Ferris wheel. It was sold on ebay to Grant Humphreys for $132,400. Humphreys, a real estate developer, plans on resurrecting the wheel in Oklahoma City. A new ferris wheel is expected to be up and running in no time at the pier. Sad to say I've never been on the ferris wheel and although it's gone, it seems a trip to Santa Monica is long overdue. Who's down?
